There are three study degrees that German HEIs provides:
- Bachelor Degree (BA, BSc, BSEng) - First academic degree. 6-8 semester programme, 3 to 4 years, awarding 180 up to 240 ECTS Credits.
- Bachelor's Degrees are the standard four-year undergraduate programs in the U.S.
- Master Degree (MA, MSc, MEng) – Second academic degree. 2-4 semester programme, 1 to 2 years, awarding 60 up to 120 ECTS Credits.
- PhD Degree – Third academic degree. 4-10 semester programme, with a research work (dissertation), concluded with a doctorate.
- Foundation program 5,000-6,000 EUR/year.
- Undergraduate Program 10,000-30,000 EUR/year.
